A C-17 Globemaster III begins takeoff at Seoul Air Base, Republic of Korea, Oct. 17, 2021. The aircraft was performing a demonstration for the Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition, also known as Seoul ADEX 21. Seoul ADEX 21 is the largest, most comprehensive event of its kind in Northeast Asia, attracting aviation and aerospace professionals, key defense personnel, aviation enthusiasts and the general public alike. Seoul ADEX 21 offers a venue to deepen the U.S. relationship with the ROK and enhance regional security though expanded military-to-military cooperation and with regional partners and allies.
