Aloha Spark: A “sign” of the times
Master Sgt. Shamar Jones, 690th Cyber Operations Squadron, and Staff Sgt. David Knutson, 647th Force Support Squadron, along with Capt. Tiffany Harwood, 15th Medical Operations Squadron, who was unavailable for a photo, won first place in the first-ever Aloha Spark competition. Their idea to implement signs alerting drivers to turn around prior to reaching the base garnered 131 “likes” on the 15th Wing Facebook page. Col. Halsey Burks, 15th Wing commander, announced the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam leadership is currently working with the State of Hawaii on this issue. (U.S. Air Force photo by 2nd Lt. Amber R.
