First Australian F-35s pass through Hawaii
A Royal Australian Air Force maintenance crewmember looks over an F-35A after landing at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Dec. 3, 2018. To commemorate their transit through Hawaii, U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Russ Mack, Pacific Air Forces deputy commander, presented a coin to the No. 3 Squadron commander. The F-35 marks the beginning of Australia’s technological and capability transformation to a fifth generation air force. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Hailey Haux)
