PACAF welcomes Lt. Gen. Russell J. Handy

U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Russell J. Handy receives his initial briefing as the Pacific Air Forces commander and U.S Pacific Command Joint Force Air Component commander, May 9, 2016, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Effective May 10, Gen. Handy, the 11th Air Force commander, will serve as the PACAF and USPACOM JFACC commander until a new one is confirmed by the Senate and assumes command.
