JBPHH Amn awarded The Honolulu Fire Departments Medal of Valor

Staff Sgt. Brentt Kiser, 735th Air Mobility Squadron poses with his family, 735th AMS leadership, the mayor of Honolulu, as well Honolulu city council members, and Honolulu Fire Department leaders, after receiving The Honolulu Fire Departments Medal of Valor from Lionel Camara Jr., Honolulu Deputy Fire Chief, at the Mokulele Fire Station No. 8 May 5, 2016. The Medal of Valor is given to individuals that have acted with extreme heroism without regarded to personal safety. Kiser earned the medal after he purposely entered a smoke filled apartment to remove an incapacitated resident from a fire and pull him to safety.
