Read Across America
Dawn Amano, first lady of Hawaii, reads a book to a group of students at Hickam Elementary School March 3, 2016 on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Amano read to the students as part of the school’s Read Across America event which took place March 1-4. Read Across America is a national program that focuses on motivating students to read through events, partnerships and reading resources.
