Operational mission complete for the Screaming Eagles

Capt. Matt Savage, 96th Air Refueling Squadron pilot, conducts preflight checks from the cockpit of a KC-135 Stratotanker prior to the final operational mission of the 96th ARS on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, June 11, 2015. Savage flew the number four aircraft in a four ship of KC-135s during the mission. Throughout the flight the aircrew executed refueling operations for two F-22 Raptors, from the 199th Fighter Squadron. The aircrew continued to show the range of KC-135 capabilities by completing defensive maneuvering as a four ship. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Tech Sgt. Aaron Oelrich/Released)
