TFI training exercise
Airmen from the 15th Maintenance Squadron and Hawaii Air National Guard 154th MXS stabilize an F-4 Phantom II with a grip hoist while airbags raise the aircraft during a crash, damaged, disabled aircraft recovery exercise Jan. 14, 2015, at Kalaeloa Airport in Kapolei, Hawaii. The exercise, in its third year as a joint event, was initial and refresher training for maintenance technicians, and an opportunity for a required inspection of the airbag equipment. Other participants included Coastguardsmen and civilian maintenance technicians, highlighting total force integration efforts amongst all participating units. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
