Master Sgt. Abraham Timas with the Hawaii Air National Guard contemplates the future exercise deployment during a Combined Unit Inspection (CUI), Nov. 03 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The CUI is the final step in over 18 months of preparation and exercises by the active duty’s 15th Wing and the Hawaii Air National Guard’s 154th Wing. The inspection allows the wings to prove their ability to deploy quickly in response to an international threat, and their operational readiness in a foreign combat scenario.
