Two Soldiers in the Expert Field Medical Badge course extract a simulated casualty from a HUMVEE during the EFMB course at Schofield Army Barracks, Hawaii, March 31 through April 11, 2014. To successfully complete the course, students had to demonstrate their proficiency at tactical combat casualty care, standard and non-standard evacuation operations, take a written test, execute U.S. Army Warrior communications and chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high-yield explosives tasks, perform day and night land navigation and complete a 12-mile road march.
