Makahiki
Col. Giovanni Tuck, 15th Airlift Wing commander, presents a gift to Lono, the defined guardian of agriculture, rain, health and peace during the annual Makahiki ceremony. Makahiki participants presented flowers, leis, plants, fruits and agricultural gifts to Lono during the ceremony, similar to a Thanksgiving celebration. The ceremony was Saturday at Hickam Harbor.
