SSAM speaker
HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii – Ben Atherton-Zeman, an educational comedian, speaks to a Hickam AFB audience April 23 on sexual assault and consent, dating violence and domestic violence, and sexual harassment and objectification as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. His presentation, titled “Voices of Men,” encourages boys and men to “become involved in both self-reflection and in violence prevention efforts.” Mr. Zeman has been speaking out against sexual assault for more than 17 years and travels to military bases, schools, and conferences with his message: “Make a difference.” For more information on how you as a military servicemember can make a difference in the Air Force community, call the Hickam AFB Sexual Assault Response Coordinator at 449-7272.
