C-17 stage crew ramp up support for OEF
Staff Sgt. Markis McCollum coordinates an inbound aircraft delivering cargo to Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan, April 18. For the past five weeks, the 376th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron's Air Terminal Operations Center has been supporting three C-17 aircrews from Pacific Air Forces who have been flying three flights nearly every day in order to deliver needed supplies to support the buildup of various bases supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. As the port information controller, Sergeant McCollum runs the nerve center of 376th ELRS ATOC by keeping logisticians posted on when aircraft are coming and going. Sergeant McCollum is deployed from the 727nd Air Mobility Squadron at RAF Mildenhall, England. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Phyllis Hanson)
