ROMADs train with Army to become JTACs
WHEELER ARMY AIR FIELD, Hawaii -- Tactical Air Control Party Airmen trained with 25th Infantry Division Headquarters, Headquarters Company 114th Infantry Soldiers at Wheeler Army Air Field's East Range near Hickam AFB June 23-26. The 25th Air Support Operations Squadron partnered with the Army to glean information based on experiences the Soldiers have had in Iraq and Afghanistan recently to prepare for an upcoming 25th ASOS deployment. The training helped sharpen proficiencies necessary for Radio Operators, Maintainers and Drivers to become combat mission-ready Joint Terminal Attack Controllers.
