ROMADs train with Army to become JTACs
WHEELER ARMY AIR FIELD, Hawaii -- Hickam Air Force Base Tactical Air Control Party Airmen trained with 25th Infantry Division Headquarters, Headquarters Company 114th Infantry Soldiers at Wheeler Army Air Field's East Range near Hickam AFB June 23-26. Training included combat lifesaver skills, convoys, air assault egression, and improvised explosive device reaction. Having spent so much time in the muck, these Hickam AFB TACPs are now prepared for the rain, cold and mud of an upcoming winter deployment to Afghanistan.
