Rodeo closing ceremonies

MCCHORD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. – Distinguished visitors and Air Mobility Rodeo 2009 spectators, including retired Col. Gail Halvorsen, the famous Berlin Airlift “Candy Bomber” known as Uncle Wiggly Wings observe the closing ceremonies here July 24. The biennial Rodeo, held July 19-24, is designed to demonstrate air mobility mission capabilities, seek out new tactics, techniques, and procedures that improve mission results, increase esprit de corps both among competing teams and internationally, and build standardization and safety.
