Spreading the word
HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- Staff Sgt. Gregory DelaCruz, Thunderbird aircraft maintenance crew chief, is interviewed by Manolo Morales, KHON Channel 2 reporter, during a live broadcast Sept. 18 to spread the word about the Open House ?Wings Over the Pacific? weekend. Sergeant DelaCruz is a resident of Miliani, Hawaii. The Thunderbirds, U.S. Air Force Demonstration Squadron, were the headliners during the open house. They demonstrate the capabilities the F-16 Fighting Falcon by performing combat maneuvers during their aerial demonstration.
