Col Tuck signs domestic violence awareness proclamation
HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- Col. Giovanni Tuck, 15th Airlift Wing commander, signed a proclamation Oct. 7 declaring his agreement with the appointment of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Team Hickam leadership also showed their support by standing behind the colonel while he signed the document. The observance asks men and women alike to commit to ending violence within our homes, our communities, and our country. "Violence" is a broad term used to encompass sexual assault and date rape, dating violence, domestic violence and sexual harassment. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt Carolyn Viss)
