H1N1 prevention
HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- Lt. Col. Cindy Robison, 15th Medical Group, explains the difference in the H1N1 flu shot and the flumist before vaccinating Capt. Samantha Kelpis, 15th Medical Group, here Nov. 5. The clinic is receiving small batches of injectable H1N1 vaccine on a weekly basis and will continue to provide updates as the vaccine comes available. To receive a shot, eligible individuals should walk into the Immunizations Clinic during the following hours: Mondays and Fridays from 8 until 11:30 a.m. and 1 through 4 p.m. On Wednesdays from from 8 until 11:30 a.m. and 1 through 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays the clinics hours of operations are from 7:30 until 11:30 a.m. and 1 through 4 p.m. The clinic is closed the third Thursday of the month after 11:30 a.m. For more information, call Staff Sgt.
