Hickam Warrior
JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR HICKAM, Hawaii - Staff Sgt. Jonathan Solomon, 15th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron communication navigation and computer mission system craftsman, is this week’s Hickam Warrior. “I maintain a multi million dollars account of technical equipment on the C-17A aircraft.” said Sergeant Solomon. To perform my job I need to know basic computer communications, database theories, and varies type of radio frequency technologies.” His other duties include being the 15th AMXS safety representative. “What I do as a safety representative ensures the decimation of safety info to the 113 employees.” he said. “This information makes sure everyone is in a safe working environment.” “Sergeant Solomon steps up to whatever challenge he is given and exceeds expectations every time.” said Tech. Sgt. Martin James, 15th AMXS flying crew chief section chief. “He took the Commander's safety program and infused new ideas to take it to new heights. His energy and commitment were so evident, his work was praised by the 15th Airlift Wing chief of safety and coined by Major Gen. Roggero.” Sergeant Solomon enjoys playing with his kids, Muay Thai kick boxing, music production, exercising, water activities, and riding his motorcycle during his free time. “Hickam Air Force Base is a good base, and in a perfect location too.” he said. “The weather allows me ride my motorcycle year around.”
