HICKAM WARRIOR:Tech. Sgt. Jenessa Craig

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR HICKAM, Hawaii – Tech. Sgt. Jenessa Craig, 647th Force Support Squadron First Term Airmen Center NCOIC, is this week’s Hickam Warrior. According to Master Sgt. Everett Jennings, 647th Force Support Squadron career assistance advisor, Sergeant Craig is an exceptional leader and has a passion for excellence. “As Team Hickam's Career Assistance Advisor I could not ask for a better NCOIC to run our FTAC. Her leadership style is the perfect mix of accountability, fairness, and compassion which are all essential to being a great FTAC NCOIC!” he said. According to Sergeant Craig, more emphasis on the Sponsorship Program, especially for first term airmen, is needed. “If Airmen are received well and shown around the base and local areas, they are likely to have a positive outlook on their units.” she said. Sergeant Craig’s job is to transition first term airmen from a training mindset to a mission-oriented environment and to reinforce lessons learned in Basic Military Training. “I love helping new Airmen adjust to the operational Air Force.” she said. “I enjoy providing guidance, mentorship and setting them up to begin a successful Air Force career. I truly have the best job in the Air Force!” According to Sergeant Craig, she enjoys the beautiful blue skies and the tropical warm breezes Hawaii has to offer. “I love the mountain views and the clear ocean waters.” she said. “This is truly the most beautiful place on earth!” (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Gustavo Gonzalez)
