Keiki hooked on fishing
JOINT BASE PERAL HARBOR HICKAM, Hawaii -- Kristina Poe, 12, and her dad Master Sgt. Mike Poe, Pacific Command, works as a team during the Keiki Fishing Tournament, hosted by Friends of Hickam, June 2 at the Ho`omaluhia Botanical Gardens. Keiki, the Hawaiian word for children, caught a tournament record 732 fish. This is the 11th straight year the Friends of Hickam has hosted the event for more than 200 children every year. The Poe's caught the tournament?s second most fish at 27, being overtaken by a single catch. Kristina broke the previous record for girls set last year at 21. (U.S. Air Force photo/SSgt. Mike Meares)
