81,864 POW/MIAs remembered

Major Sean Monteiro, 25th Air Support Operations Squadron assistant director of operations, runs with a rifle and POW/MIA flag during the POW/MIA 24-hour relay Sept. 16 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. In addition to the remembrance relay, the Air Force Sergeants Association organized a reveille and wreath-laying ceremony Sept. 17 to honor those 81,864 who are prisoners of war or missing in action.
