Hickam honors history

The Hickam Honor Guard fires a three round volley during the 69th anniversary ceremony of the surprise attacks on the Hawaiian Islands. Airmen, families and veterans gathered at Atterbury Circle, the site of same flag pole that stood Dec. 7, 1941, to commemorate the lives and the sacrifices of the men and women who were there on that day. (U.S. Air Force/Staff Sgt. Mike Meares)
