Brig. Gen. Joseph Kim conducts final flight as 154th WG CC
Brig. Gen. Joseph K. Kim, outgoing 154th Wing commander, returns from his final KC-135 flight on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Feb. 3 and gets hosed down by Maj. Scott Oka, 203rd Air Refueling Squadron and a surprise out-of-state visitor; his Mom. The Air Force has a tradition where aircrew, on completion of their final flight (‘fini-flight’) in an aircraft are usually met on arrival and hosed with water by their squadron members and family. Members of the 154th Wing and the active duty 15th Wing partnered together through total force integration to fly and maintain aircraft here. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Master Sgt. Kristen Stanley)
