Local military daughter becomes pilot for a day

Zachary Tyrrell is given a flight helmet after being strapped into a parachute simulator by Tech. Sgt. Sherwood Brown, 15th Operations Support Squadron survival evasion resistance escape specialist Feb. 18 at the 535th Airlift Squadron during a "Pilot for a Day" tour on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii. The goal of the program is to benefit children and their families in the local community who have catastrophic illnesses.
