Local youth becomes "Pilot for a Day"

Six year-old Kayla Kalaikai and her Seven year-old brother Jonah "J-Boy" watch and listen as Survival Instructor Staff Sergeant Sergio Avalos demonstrates how a radio operates while at the 535th Airlift Squadron, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii on April 2, 2010. J-Boy was invited to JBPHH to participate in the "Pilot for a Day" program which is a partnership between Kapi'olani Medical Center and the 15th Airlift Wing that gives a special day to a child that is dealing with a serious or chronic condition.
