Water spout spotted

Tall cumulus clouds on the leading edge of a storm off the Southern shore of Oahu May 2, 2011, produced a rare weather sight for the island chain - a water spout. Hickam residents watched while lightning lit up the night sky as the approaching storm eventually swallowed the spout. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Mike Meares) (RELEASED)
