535th AS, 13th AF and 18th AES execute life-saving MedEvac mission from American Samoa
Members from the 18th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron and 13th Air Force Surgeon Generals office transport a critically ill patient from American Samoa out of the rear of a C-17 on the Hickam Field fligthline May 22. The patient was aeromedically evacuated from Lyndon B. Johnson Tropical Medical Center in Pago Pago, American Samoa after he aspirated following a seizure that left him completely reliant on a ventilator to breathe.
