Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam conducts boat drop mission to Guam

Senior Airman Daniel Allen, 647th Logistics Readiness Squadron combat mobility flight rigger from Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii, uses the “daisy chain” technique to field pack a parachute after it was used to drop a heavy equipment platform from a 15th Wing C-17 Globemaster III April 6 at the drop zone on Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, during a five-day mission to fly, execute airdrops, and foster joint service and international operability in the Pacific theater. During the mission, the aircrew dropped static-line personnel, heavy equipment platforms, high-velocity container delivery system bundles, low-velocity CDS bundles, and High-Altitude Low-Opening jumpers during their time in Guam.
