Hawaii based Airmen deploy to RED FLAG-Alaska
Chief Master Sgt. Kyle Disney, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces loadmaster standardizations and evaluations, loads luggage onto an awaiting 535th Airlift Squadron C-17 Globemaster III from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, in preparation for an early morning departure to Alaska June 6 for the RED FLAG-Alaska military exercise. RED FLAG-Alaska is one of the largest international air-combat employment exercises in the world and is designed to test the specific capabilities of the military units that take part in the exercise and increase their chance of survival during actual combat.
