Airmen prepare heavy aerial delivery platform
Staff Sgt. Brett Radziewicz, a loadmaster from the 535th Operations Support Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, secures an extraction line to the extraction force transfer coupling on a 3,200-pound heavy aerial delivery platform aboard a JBPHH C-17 Globemaster III aircraft from the 535th Airlift Squadron June 13 as part of the RED FLAG-Alaska military exercise. RED FLAG-Alaska is one of the largest international air-combat employment exercises in the world and is designed to test the specific capabilities of the military units that take part in the exercise and increase their chance of survival during actual combat.
