Medal of Honor recipients visit JBPHH

Col. (Ret.) Leo Thorsness, U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and Medal of Honor recipient, proudly holds his Medal of Honor during a visit to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Oct. 4. Thorsness was an F-105 pilot in 1967, and on his ninety-third mission in the country he was shot down over North Vietnam.
