Joint-service paratroopers prepare to step off a C-17 Globemaster III operated by an aircrew from the 535th Airlift Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Nov. 13. During the flight, 41 Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets from six high schools across Oahu were able to observe various C-17 capabilities such as the ability to drop "static-line" jumpers, "high-altitude, low-opening" jumpers, and the performance of an "assault" landing at Kaneohe Bay Marine Corps Base, Hawaii.
