199th, 19th Fighter Squadrons team up to retake ACA mission
An F-22 Raptor taxis to the "Alert Pad" Dec. 6 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The active duty 19th Fighter Squadron, in partnership with the Hawaii Air National Guard's 199th Fighter Squadron, took over the Aerospace Control Alert mission from the Montana Air National Guard, who have operated the mission for the past two years during a transition from the F-15 Eagle to the F-22.
