Servicemembers get rare opportunity to stand in for “Hawaii Five-0” actors

Tom Sanders, veteran freefall cameraman and skydiver cinematographer (far left), prepares to shoot a jump out of a C-17 Globemaster III near Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam-Hawaii, Feb. 26, 2013. The jump will be used for a scene on an upcoming episode of the television show “Hawaii Five-0.” Jumpers, Maj. Aaron Lawson, Special Operations Command, Pacific, and U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. John Phillips, also from SOCPAC, were recently given the opportunity to serve as stunt doubles for the show’s actors, and will be featured on the show performing a freefall jump. (Photo by James)
