Maintainers receive a special visit from Medal of Honor recipient

Senior leaders representing the 154th Hawaii Air National Guard and the 199th Fighter Squadron ask U.S. Air Force Medal of Honor recipient Col. (retired) Joe Jackson about his experiences as a life-long patriot, next to an F-22 Raptor near the flightline at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Mar. 1, 2013. Col. Jackson began his career as a crew chief on a B-25 Mitchell, and after an in-flight engine fire during an antisubmarine patrol over the North Atlantic, he decided he wanted pilot wings. At his time of retirement he piloted 32 different airframes. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Jerome S. Tayborn)
