Maintainers receive a special visit from Medal of Honor recipient

Capt. Rush Taylor, Airlift Tanker Association (A/TA) Diamond Head Chapter President, presents U.S. Air Force Medal of Honor recipient Col. (retired) Joe Jackson an A/TA Chapter coin. Col. Jackson shared his experiences as a career military aviator at the A/TA dinner at the Officer's Club, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Mar. 2, 2013. During his 33 years of distinguished service from World War II to Korea to Vietnam, Col. Jackson flew 32 different airframes. After a dinner in his honor, he spoke about his participation in planning and directing U-2 aerial reconnaissance missions during the Cuban Missile Crisis. (U.S. Navy photo/Ensign Kalasi Andrews)
