Biography
Chief Master Sergeant Steven O. Koehler Jr., is the is the Command Chief Master Sergeant of the 15th Wing, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii. He serves as the principal adviser to the wing commander on enlisted issues. His responsibilities include advising the commander on all matters affecting the health, morale, and welfare of 7,500 personnel assigned to the host wing and 37 tenant units, including the 515th Air Mobility Operations Wing, 624th Regional Support Group, 692nd Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group and Headquarters Pacific Air Forces. The wing supports C-17A, C- 37A, C-40B, F22A and KC-135 operations, while also providing command functions to operate the airfield at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The wing, in partnership with the Hawaii Air National Guard and US Navy, employs Total Force combat and peacetime joint base support to operations across Hawaii and throughout the Pacific Theater.
