JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii --
Since its inception more than 50 years ago, the Combined Federal Campaign has raised more than $7 billion in charitable contributions from nearly 70,000 military and federal civilian employees. The contributions have been distributed to more than 1,400 local, national, and international charities, making the CFC world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign.
The 15th Wing hosted a kick-off event during the September Team Hickam Family Fun Run in which four local charities provided information about their cause. In the coming weeks, a Key Person in your unit will contact you to provide campaign information and how explain how you can donate to a charity of your choice. This year's "I Make It Happen" campaign officially runs from Sept. 16- Oct. 31.
