Main Gate undergoes upgrades Published April 17, 2007 By Senior Airman Erin Smith 15th Airlift Wing Public Affairs HICKAM AFB, HI -- Maintenance will be done on the traffic barriers at the Hickam Main Gate from April 17 through May 10. Members of the 15th Civil Engineer squadron will refurbish the barriers and upgrading the wiring and sensor systems. During construction, one lane of traffic will be allowed to enter or exit the gate while the work is being done.
