Air Force delivers humanitarian supplies to China
SHANGHAI, China-- U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Jeanette King, 535th Airlift Squadron, 15th Airlift Wing, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, directs the off-loading of a pallet of humanitarian relief supplies from a C-17 Globemaster III. Two C-17's, one from 15 AW, Hickam AFB, and the other from the 3rd Air Wing, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska assisted in the deliver. Thirteenth Air Force's 613th Air and Space Operations Center Air Mobility Divsion at Hickam AFB coordinated the delivery of 225,890 pounds of relief supplies to Shanghai within 18 hours of Secretary of Defense notification.
