Think before operating Air Force owned vehicles

All vehicle operators must have a valid AF Form 2293, USAF Motor Vehicle Operator Identification Card to operate government vehicles. This includes Non-Appropriated Funds, General Services Administration and other Air Force owned, leased and rented vehicles. This new requirements applies to both military and civilian vehicle operators. 

People who want to obtain an AF Form 2293 to legally operate a government motor vehicle should  visit the 15th Logistics Readiness Squadron's Operator Records and Licensing section in Bldg. 2003. 

To receive the AF Form 2293, the following documentation is needed:

· Valid motor vehicle license issued in any of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a similar licensing jurisdiction

· Completed and signed AF Form 171, Request for Driver's Training and Addition to U.S. Government Driver's License, from the unit vehicle control officer or commander 

· Valid Geneva Conventions Identification Card (USAF military ID).
