  • Published
Senior Airman Christina Whitworth, 15th Security Forces Squadron Unit Scheduler, is this week's Hickam Warrior.

As a security forces member, Airman Whitworth enjoys the opportunity to view her career field from a different perspective.

"The thing I enjoy most about my job is having the opportunity to see a different side of my career field, by assisting flight personnel with administrative support."

Airman Whitworth's has a diverse off duty life.

"On my off-duty time, I volunteer at the local Humane Society, go to school online at American Military University. Right now I'm only 9 semester hours away from my [Community College of the Air Force] degree in Criminal Justice. I also enjoy hiking and long boarding."

Staff Sergeant Jeremy Wike, Airman Whitworth's supervisor, is a Hickam Warrior because of her relentless dedication to her job and the Air Force.

"She is hard-working, dedicated, and places the Air Force before herself. She takes her job seriously and is ready to deploy and lead if called upon. SrA Whitworh strives to be the best at what she does and doesn't let anything get in her way."

Airman Whitworth also advises young Airmen to be bold with the opportunities the Air Force provides them.

"The Air Force has so much to offer, Airmen just need to take the time and realize that it's not bad to go to functions, banquets and classes that the AFRC offer. All of these chances help build character and open your eyes to experience new things and not the same everyday routine that many do."
