08/25/11 - JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hi. --  Readiness of 15 WG units depends heavily on the morale and welfare of our Airmen. Every member of the Air Force Team deserves competent leadership, as well as a work environment free of corruption, abuse, prejudice, sexual harassment, favoritism, and reprisal.

The IG complaint system is a forum available to Airmen, DoD Civilians, family members, and retirees to air grievances, point out injustices, and alert the Air Force to potential fraud, waste, and abuse.
 
The IG concept dates back over 380 years, and the responsibilities of today's IG mirror those of the past - "to be alert for and inform the commander of matters indicative of systemic, morale, or other problems impeding efficiency and mission effectiveness."
