NOTICE: Gate traffic delays for APEC Published Nov. 10, 2011 By Senior Airman Lauren Main 15th Wing Public Affairs JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii -- All personnel entering through O'Malley Gate on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam are encouraged to use the alternate routes in place for traffic delays due to the Asia Pacific Economic Corporation conference arrivals on Nov. 10-11 and departures on Nov. 14-15. Other points of entry onto the installation include the Nimitz and the Makalapa Gates. To gain access to Hickam from the Nimitz Gate, take an immediate left onto South Avenue and stay straight until you reach the Porter Gate, which connects the two installations. To gain access to Hickam from the Makalapa Gate, take a left onto North Road. Proceed until you reach Nimitz Gate, where you will merge to the right lane. Proceed onto South Avenue and continue until you arrive at Porter Gate, which connects the two installations. Please note that the Kuntz Gate will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11.
