She and her husband were presented the car, keys and title at the Hickam Field Base Exchange Nov. 29, 2012. “I couldn’t believe it,” she said elated that she no longer has to ride a public transit bus from downtown Honolulu to the base to shop for groceries or at the exchange. “It’s hard to carry all of those bags on the bus, so I had to get things a little at a time.
