Bioenvironmental Airman takes on the Tactical Combatives Course
Senior Airman Derrik Felton, 15th Aerospace Medicine Squadron bioenvironmental engineering technician, practices basic striking techniques during a level-two Tactical Combatives Course at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Dec. 12, 2018. Effective striking skills include understanding range, knowing what techniques are effective at that range, and controlling the transition between ranges. The course allows service members to get realistic combative training without compromising their safety. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Heather Redman)
