The airfield at JBPHH is home to the USAF 15th Wing and is composed of four groups with specific functions that directly support Airfield Operations. First, the Operations Group controls all flying and airfield operations. The Maintenance Group performs Aircraft and Aircraft support equipment maintenance. The Medical Group provides medical and dental care. Finally, the 647th Air Base Group provides direct mission support and all Air Force communications. As an additional core organization, the Wing Staff Agency provides support services to 15th Wing leaders and Airmen including but not limited to financial analysis, public affairs, and legal support. Additionally, the 15th Wing works closely with the Navy Joint Base Commander per our JBPHH MOA that provides more than 50 Installation Support Functions for Joint Base operations supporting more than 93,000 personnel and families.  JBC controlled functions that directly affect airfield operations include Security of the Airfield, Aircraft Refueling, Flight Kitchen, Transportation Support for aircrews, Repair and Oversight of all hangers and pavement, and Emergency Management.
