Local youth becomes "Pilot for a Day"

Six year-old Kayla Kalaikai stands back and watches as Mike Guerrera, the Lead Pilot Instructor for C-17 Globemaster III gives some flying instruction to her big brother seven year-old Jonah "J-Boy" Kalaikai, Jr. Jonah Sr., as they attempt fly under snowy conditions in the simulator while at the 535th Airlift Squadron, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii on April 2, 2010. J-Boy was invited to JBPHH to participate in the "Pilot for a Day" program which is a partnership between Kapi'olani Medical Center and the 15th Airlift Wing that gives a special day to a child that is dealing with a serious or chronic condition.
